Introduction to Cabozer 40mg Tablet

Cabozer 40mg is an anticancer medication containing the active ingredient Cabozantinib, which belongs to the tyrosine kinase inhibitor class. In adults, it is prescribed for:

Advanced kidney cancer (often in combination with Nivolumab)

Locally advanced or metastatic differentiated thyroid cancer

Liver cancer when Sorafenib is no longer effective

This medication is not recommended for individuals under 18 years of age.

Who Should Not Take Cabozer 40mg
Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to Cabozantinib or any of the tablet’s ingredients.

Important Precautions
Before starting treatment, tell your doctor if you have:

Liver disease

Inflammatory bowel disease

High blood pressure or heart disease

Diarrhea

History of blood clots in the legs, serious bleeding, aneurysm, or tears in blood vessel walls

Also inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or have fertility concerns. Effective contraception should be used during treatment and for at least four months after your last dose.

Other Important Information

If you have thyroid problems, your thyroid function should be checked before starting this medicine.

Inform your doctor if you had surgery, including dental procedures, in the past month.

Avoid grapefruit or grapefruit juice, as they can increase the level of medicine in your blood.

This tablet contains lactose. If you are intolerant to certain sugars, discuss this with your doctor.

Advanced renal cell carcinoma
Liver Cancer
Differentiated thyroid cancer

Therapeutic Effects of Cabozer 40mg Tablet

It acts against a protein called receptor tyrosine kinases and interferes with cell signaling, ultimately stopping the growth and spread of cancer cells. Cazanat 40mg is indicated alone or in combination with Nivolumab.

Interaction of Cabozer 40mg Tablet with other drugs

Inform your doctor about any prescribed medications, over-the-counter medicines, nutritional or vitamin supplements, and herbal products you take or have taken before the treatment. Certain medications such as antibiotics, St, John's Wort, Aliskiren and other medicine may interact with Cazanat 40mg and can cause undesirable side effects
