Therapeutic Effects of Sosrane Inhaler

Isoflurane is a halogenated volatile anaesthetic that enhances GABA-A inhibition and blocks NMDA glutamate receptors, producing dose-dependent CNS depression from anxiolysis to surgical anaesthesia.

Interaction of Sosrane Inhaler with other drugs

Potentiates all neuromuscular blocking agents. Additive myocardial depression with beta-blockers, calcium channel blockers. Arrhythmias with sympathomimetics (adrenaline).

How to consume Sosrane Inhaler

Inhaled via calibrated anaesthetic vaporiser in OT. Induction: 1.5-3% with N2O/O2. Maintenance: 1-2.5%. Administered and monitored by anaesthesiologist.
