Glycopyrrolate is a quaternary ammonium anticholinergic that blocks muscarinic acetylcholine receptors. It reduces secretions (salivary, bronchial, gastric) and prevents bradycardia — does not cross blood-brain barrier, so lacks CNS side effects.

Interaction of Glycopyre 0.2mg Injection 1ml with other drugs

Additive anticholinergic effects with antihistamines, tricyclic antidepressants. Metoclopramide may reduce anticholinergic effect. Potentiates atropine-like effects.

How to consume Glycopyre 0.2mg Injection 1ml

Injection: IV or IM by anaesthesiologist. Preoperative: 0.2-0.4mg IM 30-60 min before surgery. With neostigmine for reversal: 0.2mg per 1mg neostigmine IV.
