Cisaish 10mg Injection contains Cisatracurium Besylate, a stereoisomer of atracurium with greater potency and significantly less histamine release. It is the preferred neuromuscular blocker in critically ill patients as it undergoes organ-independent Hofmann elimination. Available at ₹246 (MRP ₹431.25).

Therapeutic Effects of Cisaish 10mg Injection

Cisatracurium is a stereoisomer of atracurium with greater potency and less histamine-releasing activity. It causes non-depolarizing neuromuscular blockade via competitive acetylcholine antagonism, degraded by Hofmann elimination regardless of organ function.

Interaction of Cisaish 10mg Injection with other drugs

Enhanced blockade by volatile anaesthetics, aminoglycosides, and magnesium salts. Reduced by prior succinylcholine administration. Reversed by anticholinesterase agents.

IV only — administered by anaesthesiologist. Intubating dose 0.15-0.2mg/kg. Maintenance doses as required during surgery.
