Arium 25mg Injection contains Atracurium Besylate, a non-depolarizing neuromuscular blocking agent used in anaesthesia to provide skeletal muscle relaxation during surgery and endotracheal intubation. Therapeutic Effects of Arium 25mg Injection

Atracurium Besylate is a non-depolarizing neuromuscular blocking agent. It competitively antagonizes acetylcholine at the motor end-plate, causing skeletal muscle relaxation via Hofmann elimination — independent of renal or hepatic function.

Interaction of Arium 25mg Injection with other drugs

Enhanced blockade with volatile anaesthetics, aminoglycosides, clindamycin, and magnesium. Reduced by prior use of succinylcholine. Antagonized by neostigmine/glycopyrrolate reversal.

How to consume Arium 25mg Injection

Administered IV by anaesthesiologist only. Initial intubating dose 0.3-0.6mg/kg IV bolus. Maintenance dose as directed by anaesthetic team.
