Altraz 1mg Tablet is an anticancer medication containing Anastrozole as its active ingredient. It belongs to a group of medicines called aromatase inhibitors. This tablet is prescribed for the treatment of hormone-dependent breast cancer in postmenopausal women. Aromatase inhibitors work by lowering estrogen levels in the body. They block an enzyme in fatty (adipose) tissue that converts other hormones into estrogen. By reducing estrogen levels, this medication helps slow cancer growth and decrease the risk of recurrence in early-stage breast cancer.

Common side effects may include nausea, vomiting, reduced appetite, fever, itching, joint inflammation (arthritis), bone thinning (osteoporosis), vaginal bleeding, allergic reactions, and pain in the joints, stomach, or kidneys.

Before starting Altraz 1mg Tablet, inform your doctor if you are allergic to anastrozole or any of its ingredients.
